National Service of Thanksgiving for The Harvest of the Sea

A National Service of Thanksgiving for the Harvest of the Sea was held at Exeter Cathedral on Sunday 11" October.

The service recognised the fishermen who put to sea, the families who stand behind them and the thousands of people and businesses ashore who make up the nation's industry. This was the first national service to give thanks for and celebrate the harvest from our seas and all were invited to be a part of it with fishermen, those in the seafood supply chain, people from coastal communities and those who simply care about the produce, people and heritage of the industry. The service received Royal support from Queen Camilla who kindly sent a letter of support to the organisers. A collection raised funds for Exeter Cathedral and the Fishermen's Mission.
